The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM) has launched an Export Business Accelerator to prepare local companies for growth in international markets. Fifty Saudi enterprises are taking part in the program, which runs from October 18 to December 17, 2026, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
The bank describes the accelerator as the first of its kind in export business development. Participating companies receive specialized mentoring, training and networking, along with guidance on different routes into global markets. The program also prepares them to use the bank’s credit solutions, covering both financing and insurance.
Each company follows a practical path. It starts with an assessment of export readiness, then moves to building actionable export plans, individual advisory sessions with specialists, and finally connections with the bodies that enable and support exporters. The aim is to help firms meet the requirements of entering new markets, including the commercial and operational sides of exporting.
Eng. Saad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khalb, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi EXIM, said the launch extends the bank’s role in supporting national companies at every stage of their export journey and strengthens their ability to compete and expand abroad. He added that the bank hopes the accelerator will widen the base of local firms qualified to export and link them with trade opportunities, partners and credit solutions, helping to grow Saudi non-oil exports and their presence around the world.
Through the accelerator, Saudi EXIM combines non-financial services with its credit products in one system built around the needs of local businesses. Companies can build their export skills and their access to funding at the same time.
Saudi EXIM operates under the supervision of the National Development Fund. It works to grow the Kingdom’s non-oil exports and strengthen their competitiveness by providing financing, guarantees and export credit insurance, closing financing gaps and reducing export risks in support of Saudi Vision 2030. On October 8, the bank announced that the credit facilities it has provided since its establishment had passed SR150 billion.
