Rana Saqqat, Director of Education at the Saudi Fashion Commission, participated in a panel discussion titled “Inside the World of Fashion and Luxury,” where industry trends and the future of the sector were explored.

During the session, Saqqat highlighted key educational initiatives led by the Commission to develop national talent, emphasizing the importance of building a specialized education ecosystem aligned with global standards in fashion and luxury.

She also presented the Commission’s collaboration with the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM), one of the world’s leading fashion institutions, noting that the partnership aims to transfer global expertise and enhance the quality of local educational programs.

In addition, she announced the launch of a Strategic Management track within the MBA and EMBA programs at Al Yamamah University. The track is designed to prepare future leaders capable of managing fashion businesses with a modern vision that integrates creativity, sustainability, and professionalism.

These initiatives align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritizes the development of creative industries and aims to build a diversified, knowledge-based economy.

Registration for the programs is expected to open soon, reflecting the accelerating growth of specialized education in the Kingdom’s fashion sector.
