HRDF Supports 329,000 Job Opportunities for Saudis in H1 2026

Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) contributed to 329,000 job opportunities for Saudi citizens during the first half of 2026, marking a 23% increase compared with the same period in 2025.

The results highlight the expanding role of HRDF programs and initiatives in supporting quality and sustainable employment, strengthening the readiness of Saudi talent, and advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.

SAR 4.9 Billion in Direct Support

HRDF provided approximately SAR 4.9 billion in direct support to individuals and establishments benefiting from its training, empowerment and career guidance programs during the first half of the year.

The number of citizens benefiting from HRDF services and programs also exceeded 1.69 million, reflecting the growing reach of initiatives designed to strengthen skills and improve participation in the Saudi labor market.

HRDF previously reported that its programs contributed to the employment of more than 562,000 Saudi men and women in the private sector during 2025, representing a 29% increase from the previous year.

More Than 171,000 Establishments Benefited

More than 171,000 establishments across the Kingdom benefited from HRDF services during H1 2026, representing a 25% increase compared with the same period last year.

Small, medium-sized and micro enterprises accounted for approximately 95% of the total beneficiary establishments, highlighting HRDF’s continued focus on supporting the private sector and helping businesses attract and develop Saudi talent.

Among its key initiatives is the Employment Support Program, which provides wage support and additional incentives to encourage private and non-profit sector establishments to employ Saudi nationals.

Strengthening Saudi Talent

HRDF Director General Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini said the results reflect the continued development of Saudi Arabia’s human-capital ecosystem and the Fund’s role in strengthening the competitiveness of the national workforce.

HRDF operates a wide range of training, empowerment and career guidance programs in partnership with government entities and private-sector establishments, helping align workforce skills with labor-market needs and supporting sustainable employment.

The Fund’s strategy focuses on improving labor supply-and-demand alignment, developing national human capital and supporting sustainable employment in the private sector.

Supporting the Saudi Labor Market

The latest figures underscore the expanding impact of HRDF programs in supporting both Saudi citizens and businesses as the Kingdom’s labor market continues to evolve.

The national employment platform Jadarat also plays a key role in connecting Saudi job seekers with employment opportunities across the public and private sectors.
