AlUla is being shaped into a place where art can be seen in every season. The Royal Commission for AlUla is building Wadi AlFann, the coming AlUla Contemporary Art Museum and the AlJadidah Arts District, and its annual arts festival is the showcase for that plan. The official Experience AlUla platform now lists the next festival from 15 January to 6 February 2027, spread across the governorate from the oasis to AlJadidah.
Visitors can expect contemporary art exhibitions, large outdoor installations, live performances, workshops and talks with artists, plus an interactive programme on design and visual culture. Some events will be free and others ticketed.
The fifth edition, held early in 2026, was the largest so far: more than 45,000 visitors, 12 exhibitions and over 120 works by more than 70 artists from 35 countries.
