The figure highlights the growing integration of AI technologies into users’ digital lives, amid high levels of internet penetration and increasing reliance on digital applications and services across everyday activities.
ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok Lead AI App Downloads
According to the report, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok ranked among the most downloaded artificial intelligence applications in Saudi Arabia.
The figures reflect growing interest in generative AI platforms and their expanding role in helping users complete a wide variety of personal, educational and creative tasks.
Information Search, Idea Generation and Education Among Top Uses
The report identified searching for information, generating ideas, studying and education among the leading uses of artificial intelligence tools in the Kingdom.
Users are also turning to AI for creative applications, including the generation of images, videos and presentations, demonstrating how the technology is increasingly being used beyond conventional information retrieval.
61.3% Spend Seven Hours or More Online Daily
The report also revealed that approximately 61.3 percent of users in Saudi Arabia spend seven hours or more online every day.
The figure reflects the growing importance of internet connectivity across work, education, communication, entertainment, e-commerce and access to digital government services.
Friday Records Peak Internet Activity
According to the report’s findings on user behavior, Friday is the peak day for internet usage during the week.
The highest levels of daily internet activity were recorded between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Internet Penetration Reaches 99.6%
Internet usage penetration in Saudi Arabia has reached approximately 99.6 percent, according to the fifth edition of the Saudi Internet 2025 report.
The report examined internet usage patterns and digital services across the Kingdom, including the most widely used and downloaded applications in areas such as social media and government services.
