King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah welcomed the first group of pilgrims arriving from Syria on Saturday, marking the beginning of this year’s Hajj arrivals to Saudi Arabia.
The arrival process was supported by organized operational plans and advanced services aimed at ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for pilgrims from the moment they entered the Kingdom.
Saudi authorities confirmed their full readiness for the Hajj season across all air, land, and sea entry points, with extensive preparations focused on accelerating procedures and improving service efficiency.
Arrival terminals have been equipped with modern digital technologies and advanced processing systems, alongside highly trained staff capable of communicating in multiple languages to assist pilgrims from around the world.
The preparations reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to continuously enhance Hajj services and improve the overall pilgrimage experience through innovation, organization, and hospitality.
Airports and border crossings across the Kingdom are currently operating at heightened readiness levels as hundreds of thousands of pilgrims are expected to arrive in the coming weeks to perform Hajj in a safe and well-organized environment.
