HONOR has officially expanded its 600 series in Saudi Arabia, with the HONOR 600 Lite already available at major retail outlets and the flagship HONOR 600 5G set to open pre-orders at Jarir Bookstore on April 22. The two devices bring a meaningful step-up in hardware to the mid-range segment, combining high-resolution cameras, oversized batteries, and durability credentials that have traditionally been associated with higher-priced smartphones.

HONOR 600 Lite: Now Available at SAR 1,299

The HONOR 600 Lite is priced at SAR 1,299 and is on sale now across major retail chains in Saudi Arabia. The device’s most distinctive feature is its vacuum-forged aluminum unibody construction — a manufacturing process HONOR describes as an industry first — which gives the phone a premium metallic build while keeping its thickness at just 7.34mm and its weight around 180 grams.

The 6.6-inch AMOLED 1.5K display features a 1.23mm bezel and reaches a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, delivering clear visuals in direct sunlight. HONOR has secured SGS Premium Performance Certification for the 600 Lite, verifying drop resistance from heights of up to 1.8 metres — making it the only metal-framed phone in its class to carry that certification.

The rear camera system centres on a 108MP main sensor, while a dedicated AI Camera Button built into the frame provides instant shutter access and direct Snapchat integration with a single press. The 6,520mAh battery holds TÜV Rheinland endurance certification for up to 48 hours of use, supported by 45W HONOR SuperCharge wired charging. The device ships in a base configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, with HONOR’s RAM Turbo technology capable of extending effective memory to the equivalent of 16GB.

HONOR 600 5G: Pre-Orders From April 22

The main HONOR 600 5G model raises the specification bar further. Pre-orders open through Jarir Bookstore on April 22, with the 8GB/256GB variant priced at SAR 1,799 and the 12GB/256GB configuration at SAR 1,999.

The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset on a 4nm process and arrives with a 7,000mAh battery — one of the largest in its class. Its camera system leads with a 200MP OIS main sensor, accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP autofocus front camera. The HONOR 600 launches with MagicOS 10 built on Android 16 and carries a promise of six years of operating system and security updates, a long-term support commitment that remains rare among mid-range handsets.

Saudi Arabia as a Priority Market for Global Tech

HONOR has confirmed IP68 and IP69 ratings for the HONOR 600, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage that deliver performance figures more commonly associated with flagship-tier devices. The GCC rollout follows similar momentum from other global brands recognising Saudi Arabia as a first-wave launch destination, consistent with the country’s ambitions under Vision 2030 to become a leading technology and innovation hub.

With a young, digitally connected population and some of the region’s highest smartphone adoption rates, Saudi Arabia continues to draw early-launch commitments from leading manufacturers. HONOR’s decision to bring the 600 series to the local market in April — ahead of several regional neighbours — reflects the strategic value the company places on its Saudi customer base.
