Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Health conducted an inspection tour of healthcare facilities in Makkah to assess their readiness ahead of the upcoming Hajj season.
The visit included several hospitals and medical centers across Makkah and the holy sites, where the minister reviewed operational preparedness, healthcare services, and the integration of medical and emergency systems designed to serve pilgrims.
During the tour, the minister emphasized the importance of enhancing healthcare efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination among all relevant entities to deliver safe, high-quality medical services to millions of pilgrims arriving from around the world.
He also stressed the need for maximum readiness in handling emergencies, strengthening rapid response capabilities, and maintaining the highest standards of public health and safety.
This inspection is part of a comprehensive plan led by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with other government bodies to ensure a safe and well-managed Hajj season, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s advanced capabilities in healthcare and crowd management.
