The Fijian conjoined twins, Jesibel and Desisia, have arrived in Riyadh with their family to undergo medical evaluation under the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program, following directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
The twins were transferred to King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital, where a multidisciplinary medical team will begin comprehensive examinations to determine whether separation surgery is medically feasible.
Comprehensive Medical Assessment
Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and head of the program’s medical and surgical team, said specialists will conduct detailed evaluations before making a final decision regarding the possibility of separation surgery.
He noted that the Saudi program has developed world-class expertise in managing highly complex conjoined twin cases and has achieved numerous successful surgical outcomes.

Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that the initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued humanitarian commitment to providing advanced medical care for patients from around the world.
The twins’ family expressed their appreciation for the Kingdom’s swift response, warm reception, and the medical care their children received upon arriving in Riyadh.
