Jamila El Mir

Jamila El Mir is Insights and Activation Lead at Wave, an initiative working toward ocean regeneration within a human generation. She brings nearly two decades of experience in environmental and sustainability strategy, spanning urban development, infrastructure, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the circular economy. Previously, she served as a senior advisor to the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP28 and as an environmental strategy and policy advisor to the Government of Dubai. Her work brings together government and industry to advance sustainability policy, strengthen collaboration, and translate environmental priorities into practical action.
