The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has launched Ibram, a new digital platform that enables government entities to electronically sign, seal and verify official documents, helping streamline government transactions while maintaining security, document integrity and legal validity.
More than 87 government entities are already using the platform through Saudi Arabia’s digital certification system, creating a trusted environment for electronic transactions based on secure identity authentication and document integrity protection.
Ibram also enables government documents to be signed and verified instantly, helping accelerate administrative procedures and improve the efficiency of digital government services.
Digital Seals and Signatures
Ibram provides two core services: digital seals and digital signatures.
Digital seals are issued to government entities to verify the identity of the authority that issued a document while ensuring its integrity and legal validity.
Digital signatures, meanwhile, are issued to government employees, allowing them to authenticate their identities and formally approve official documents electronically.
The two services are designed to strengthen trust in digital government transactions while reducing reliance on traditional paper-based processes.
Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Digital Transformation
The launch of Ibram is part of SDAIA’s broader efforts to provide government entities with advanced digital tools that enhance the efficiency of public services and administrative procedures.
The platform reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued push toward secure and reliable digital government services, enabling official transactions to be completed more efficiently while maintaining high standards of security and authenticity.
Ibram also supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by accelerating digital transformation, strengthening government performance and contributing to the Kingdom’s ambition to build a sustainable digital economy driven by technology and innovation.
