Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority reported continued activity in the Kingdom’s IPO and listing market during the first quarter of 2026, despite a moderate decline in applications compared with the final quarter of the previous year.
According to the latest report, a total of 33 IPO and listing applications were submitted during the first three months of the year, compared with 45 applications recorded at the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.
The figures indicate that companies remain interested in joining the Saudi capital market, even as the pace of new submissions slowed slightly.
Nomu Leads in New Applications
The Parallel Market (Nomu) accounted for the majority of applications, receiving 23 requests, while the Main Market (TASI) recorded 10 applications.
This trend highlights the growing appeal of Nomu among small and medium-sized enterprises seeking access to capital and opportunities for expansion through public markets.
Five New IPO Approvals
During the first quarter, the Capital Market Authority approved public offerings for five companies, including three listings on the Main Market and two on Nomu.
These approvals are part of ongoing efforts to enhance market efficiency, broaden the listed company base, and create a more diversified investment environment.
One New Main Market Listing
The Main Market recorded one new listing during the quarter, with Saleh Abdulaziz Al-Rashed & Sons joining the Basic Materials sector.
The listing represents another addition to the Kingdom’s primary exchange, which generally attracts larger and more established companies.
No New Nomu Listings
Despite attracting the largest share of applications, Nomu did not record any new listings during the first quarter of 2026.
Market analysts believe this temporary slowdown is likely linked to listing schedules and market conditions rather than a decline in interest, as the Parallel Market has experienced steady growth in recent years.
Continued Capital Market Expansion
Saudi Arabia’s capital market continues to evolve in line with Vision 2030 goals aimed at strengthening financial markets and diversifying funding sources for businesses.
In recent years, the Kingdom has witnessed significant growth in listed companies, IPO activity, and investor participation, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s most dynamic and influential financial markets.
