Abha Launches Ready-Made Factories Complex to Boost Industrial Investment and Entrepreneurship in Aseer

Abha has officially unveiled its new Ready-Made Factories Complex, a strategic industrial project designed to attract investment, support entrepreneurs, and strengthen the manufacturing sector in the Aseer region as part of the Kingdom’s broader economic diversification efforts.

Covering more than 32,000 square meters, the complex includes 40 fully equipped industrial units featuring integrated infrastructure and essential services, enabling investors to establish manufacturing operations without the significant costs and lengthy timelines typically associated with factory construction.

The project is expected to attract a wide range of industrial investments aligned with the region’s development priorities, including technology-driven industries, innovation-focused projects, food processing, manufacturing activities, renewable energy solutions, and light electronics assembly operations.

One of the key advantages of the complex is its strategic location near major logistics corridors, facilitating efficient transportation, distribution, and supply chain operations while enhancing connectivity with local and regional markets.

According to Shaker Bin Owair, Chairman of the Abha Chamber of Commerce, the project is the result of close cooperation between the Chamber, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), and several government and private-sector stakeholders.

He noted that the chamber played a significant role throughout the planning, engineering, architectural, and implementation phases of the project, ensuring that the facilities meet the needs of modern industrial investors.

The Ready-Made Factories Complex provides a complete investment ecosystem that allows entrepreneurs and manufacturers to focus on production, operations, and market expansion rather than spending time and resources on construction and infrastructure development.

The industrial units offer flexible spaces ranging from 305 to 401 square meters, making them particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to expand their operations or launch new ventures.

In addition to supporting industrial growth, the project is expected to generate hundreds of direct and indirect employment opportunities across management, engineering, operations, maintenance, and support services, contributing to sustainable economic development throughout the region.

The launch of the complex reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its industrial ecosystem, enhancing investment opportunities, and advancing the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a leading industrial and logistics hub on the global stage.
