New Partnership Announced for World’s Tallest Sports Tower in Riyadh

Sports Boulevard Foundation has appointed OVG Middle East as the operating partner for the Global Sports Tower project within Riyadh’s Sports Boulevard development.

The partnership marks another major milestone in Saudi Arabia’s efforts to position Riyadh as a global hub for sports, entertainment, and modern lifestyle experiences.

130-Meter Sports Tower

The Global Sports Tower is being developed as the world’s tallest sports tower, reaching a height of 130 meters.

The project spans approximately 84,000 square meters and will feature more than 30 sports facilities, including:

  • The world’s tallest indoor climbing wall at 98 meters.
  • A 250-meter rooftop running track overlooking Riyadh.
  • Integrated wellness, sports, and community spaces.

Integrated Lifestyle Destination

Jayne McGivern described the project as a major step toward creating a more active and connected lifestyle environment in Riyadh.

Meanwhile, Iain Campbell said the tower represents a bold addition to Saudi Arabia’s sports and lifestyle landscape, emphasizing the company’s focus on operational excellence and world-class visitor experiences.

Part of Saudi Vision 2030

The tower forms part of the larger Sports Boulevard project, which stretches more than 135 kilometers across Riyadh and includes:

  • Pedestrian pathways.
  • Cycling tracks.
  • Horse-riding trails.
  • Sports and entertainment facilities.

The Sports Boulevard initiative was launched by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in 2019 as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 Quality of Life Program aimed at promoting healthier and more active lifestyles across the Kingdom.
