American professional wrestling icon Terrence Michael Brunk, known globally as “Sabu,” has passed away at the age of 60,
following a storied career that spanned over four decades.
Sabu was renowned for his high-risk, hardcore wrestling style and rose to fame during the 1990s as a leading figure in ECW,
where he captured the World Heavyweight Championship twice and also held the NWA World Title.

His influence shaped an entire generation of wrestlers.
His final match took place in April 2025 during a retirement bout in Las Vegas against Joey Janela.
Tributes poured in from across the wrestling world, honoring his legacy and contributions to the sport.
The cause of death has not been officially disclosed.
