The Riyadh HR Summit revealed a modern shift in how job loyalty is defined—staying with one company for just four years is now a significant sign of commitment in today’s dynamic job market.
Syed Azharudin, Director of Learning & Organizational Development at AJEX, noted that with five distinct generations now coexisting in the workforce—from Boomers to Gen Alpha—HR strategies must be customized, particularly as Gen Z shows a greater tendency toward job-hopping.

AI also took center stage in discussions. Eid Alkhaldi, Succession Management Director at STC, highlighted that artificial intelligence isn’t replacing jobs, but rather “requires us to apply it smartly to elevate business operations.”
A powerful women’s leadership panel featured Dr. Nada Al-Hassan from the Ministry of Investment and Dr. Aseel Shawli of Nestlé Academy, showcasing initiatives like the Human Capital Development Program and Saudization as key pillars for future leadership under Vision 2030.
The summit’s message was clear: Loyalty is no longer measured by decades but by real impact and adaptability in a fast-evolving professional world.
