The Tourism Minister inaugurated the “Saudi Summer” program with a field tour in Taif, a move aimed at showcasing the Kingdom’s top summer destinations.
The tour covered key natural and heritage spots, including Al Hada and Ash Shafa resorts, mountain areas, luxury resorts, and agritourism farms.
During the visit, the minister outlined plans to enhance infrastructure and entertainment services in Taif by upgrading roads, expanding accommodation options, and developing tourist facilities.
He also held discussions with private-sector hospitality and tourism operators to hear their needs and suggestions for the summer season.
The minister emphasized that these tours form part of a national strategy to boost both domestic and inbound tourism, diversify the Kingdom’s tourism offerings, and support Vision 2030 goals. Expanding the “Saudi Summer” program also encourages investment and creates job opportunities for youth.
The initiative highlights the ministry’s commitment to engaging public and private stakeholders, as well as local communities, in delivering a comprehensive summer experience that combines heritage, nature, and innovative hospitality.
