On the sidelines of the Saudi Media Forum, the President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Broadcasting Union, Professor Dr. Amr Al-Laithi,
signed a cooperation protocol with the CEO of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat), Engineer Al-Humaidi bin Manahi Al-Anzi.
The agreement aims to organize the Media Forum in Jeddah in October 2025 and launch a joint cloud platform between the two parties, enhancing digital media collaboration and keeping pace with technological advancements in satellite broadcasting.
This reflects the commitment of both parties to supporting Arab and Islamic media with the latest technologies.
During the ceremony, held on the second day of the Saudi Media Forum 2025, the CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and President of the Saudi Media Forum, Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Harthi,
honored the winning projects, judges, and team members in the Media Innovation Camp, organized in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

The “Daqeeqa” project won in the track focused on developing interactive platforms using artificial intelligence to personalize media content.
Meanwhile, “Mazeeg”—the first Saudi platform of its kind—won in the track supporting digital platforms that facilitate co-productions among creative professionals.
In the track dedicated to supporting projects that showcase Saudi identity and values through innovative content, the “Vlog KSA” team was awarded for its project, which represents the Saudi family and its traditions.
