for Intellectual Property reaching 8,029 in 2024, marking a 13.33% increase compared to the previous year.
Applications from individuals saw a remarkable 62% rise, reflecting growing interest among citizens in innovation and protecting their intellectual property rights.
Additionally, applications from abroad increased by 15%, totaling 4,921, indicating the Kingdom’s attractiveness to international inventors.
This growth aligns with Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance its innovation ecosystem and support a knowledge-based economy
by improving intellectual property infrastructure and streamlining registration processes, in line with Vision 2030 objectives.
