Saudi Cuisine Strengthens Global Presence at Taste of London 2026

Saudi cuisine continued to strengthen its global presence through a standout participation at Taste of London 2026, where the “Taste of Saudi Culture” pavilion attracted large crowds over five days, offering visitors an immersive experience showcasing the richness of Saudi culinary heritage and hospitality.

The participation came as part of the Culinary Arts Commission’s efforts to expand Saudi cuisine’s international reach and introduce traditional dishes, heritage beverages, and local products to a global audience.

Traditional Saudi Dishes Capture Attention in London

The Saudi pavilion received strong engagement from visitors who explored the Kingdom’s culinary diversity through live cooking experiences featuring some of the country’s most iconic traditional dishes.

Among the standout dishes were Haneeth, Baleela, and Mutabbaq, giving visitors the opportunity to taste authentic Saudi flavors while learning more about their ingredients and preparation methods.

The strong response reflects growing global interest in Saudi cuisine as a key part of the Kingdom’s cultural identity, especially as international audiences increasingly seek unique culinary experiences rooted in heritage.

Local Beverages and Products Showcase Saudi Identity

The Saudi experience extended beyond food to include innovative beverages built around local ingredients and flavors.

Visitors enjoyed drinks inspired by Saudi basil, hibiscus, mint, green tea, date molasses, and Al-Ahsa lemon, blending traditional ingredients with modern beverage concepts.

The pavilion also featured ice cream flavors inspired by dates and Sidr honey, a retail area for Saudi products and souvenirs, and a handicrafts section where visitors experienced traditional Asiri flower crown making.

This successful participation highlights Saudi Arabia’s strategy of using cuisine as a cultural bridge that reflects the Kingdom’s heritage and identity, while showcasing the growing role of culinary arts in supporting the creative economy and strengthening Saudi soft power globally.
