The Saudi Consulate General in Geneva has confirmed that it is overseeing arrangements for the repatriation of a Saudi citizen who tragically drowned in Lake Geneva in Switzerland.
According to the consulate, it has been closely coordinating with Swiss authorities since the incident was first reported, ensuring the recovery and identification of the body. The consulate also confirmed that it is in direct contact with the victim’s family to provide support and facilitate the necessary procedures for the transfer back to the Kingdom.
In its statement, the consulate emphasized its ongoing commitment to caring for Saudi citizens abroad and providing assistance under all circumstances. It assured that the repatriation process is being handled with the utmost attention and urgency, in line with its responsibilities toward nationals overseas.
