As part of its steadfast commitment to supporting global development efforts, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has underscored the critical role of data and artificial intelligence in accelerating progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This was prominently highlighted during the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA)’s participation in major international platforms, including Seamless Middle East in Dubai.
SDAIA presented a range of advanced initiatives focused on leveraging intelligent technologies and data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making and improve the efficiency of public services.

These innovations also aim to empower developing countries by enabling them to harness big data and AI in tackling key challenges such as food security, healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability.
These efforts align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which positions the Kingdom as a global hub for innovation and artificial intelligence through strategic investment in talent development and digital infrastructure.
SDAIA was recently honored by Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit in recognition of its pioneering role in advancing digital transformation across the region.
Through these initiatives, Saudi Arabia reaffirms its ambition to not only enhance its national capabilities but also act as a global partner in shaping the future of AI—using technology as a force for good to inspire and enable sustainable digital societies around the world.
