The National Museum in Riyadh is set to launch a dynamic summer program for children titled “Museum Camp”, scheduled to run from July 14 to 25.
This engaging initiative is designed to introduce young participants to the Kingdom’s cultural heritage through interactive learning and hands-on activities.
The camp will offer a unique blend of education and entertainment, featuring a variety of engaging activities such as art workshops, interactive tours through the museum’s galleries, visual storytelling sessions, and group challenges crafted to spark curiosity and inspire discovery.
Targeting children aged 6 to 10, the program will run five days a week over a two-week period, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., within a safe and supportive environment.

The camp will be supervised by experienced educators and cultural guides, ensuring both enjoyment and meaningful learning.
According to the Museums Commission, this initiative is part of its broader mission to make museums accessible and vibrant spaces for all segments of society—especially children, who are seen as the builders of the future.
The camp also reflects the Commission’s goal of transforming traditional museums into interactive hubs of non-formal education that encourage engagement with the Kingdom’s rich history and national identity.
“Museum Camp” embodies the Kingdom’s growing focus on developing cultural and educational experiences for young generations, in line with Vision 2030’s objective of cultivating a creative and knowledge-driven society.
