Saudi Arabia showcased its maritime vision and strategic goals at the 2024 London International Shipping Exhibition, one of the world’s leading events in the maritime transport and logistics industry.
The Kingdom participated with an official pavilion organized by the Transport General Authority in collaboration with key public and private sector entities.
The exhibition served as a platform for Saudi Arabia to present its ambitious plans to transform into a global logistics hub connecting three continents, in line with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, a key pillar of Vision 2030.
The Saudi pavilion highlighted major developments in the Kingdom’s port infrastructure, digital maritime services, training and qualification programs, and environmental sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing fleet efficiency.
During the event, several agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Saudi entities and international companies to attract investment, exchange expertise, and develop national talent in areas such as navigation, vessel maintenance, and marine technologies.
The Kingdom’s participation underscored its commitment to expanding international cooperation and raising global awareness of its ongoing maritime reforms and rapid growth in infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, and service capabilities—strengthening its global competitiveness in the sector.
