Saudi Arabia has launched a groundbreaking national initiative titled “Cyber Child Protection,” aimed at creating a safe and secure digital environment for children and raising awareness among families about the risks of the online world.
The initiative follows a preventive and educational approach, integrating awareness campaigns, legal frameworks, and advanced technologies to monitor harmful behaviors online. It empowers children with the skills to identify safe digital practices while supporting parents in their vital supervisory role.

As part of the Kingdom’s broader vision to uphold family values and strengthen cybersecurity, the program seeks to build knowledge-based digital defenses that protect young users from cyberbullying, exploitation, and psychologically harmful content.
The initiative will include awareness drives, training programs in schools, interactive learning platforms, and updated regulations that ensure child-friendly digital content and hold service providers accountable to ethical and safety standards.
