Buraidah is preparing to welcome visitors as the Buraidah Summer Festival 2026 officially launches on June 25 at King Abdullah National Park as part of the Qassim Summer Season.
The festival will run for 60 days and feature more than 100 entertainment, cultural, and tourism activities designed for all age groups.
More Than 100 Activities for Families and Visitors
The event will offer a diverse range of experiences, including restaurant and café zones, family business booths, youth entrepreneurship projects, games, live performances, interactive programs, and daily competitions.
Dedicated areas for children and young people will ensure activities are available for every segment of society, creating a comprehensive family-friendly destination throughout the summer season.
Organizers aim to provide a unique experience that combines entertainment, culture, and community engagement in one location.
Supporting Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship
Festival organizers announced that the event will create more than 500 seasonal employment opportunities for young men and women across organizational, operational, and service-related roles.
The festival will also support cottage-industry families, small businesses, and entrepreneurs by providing platforms to showcase products and services while expanding business opportunities.
These initiatives are expected to strengthen local economic activity and encourage greater community participation.
Boosting Tourism and the Local Economy
The Buraidah Summer Festival is expected to attract visitors from across the Kingdom, contributing to tourism growth in the Qassim region and enhancing its appeal as a summer destination.
The event reflects broader efforts to develop seasonal festivals that combine entertainment, economic development, and job creation while supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
