AlUla and UNESCO Launch Global Training Program to Advance Intercultural Dialogue Through Museums and Heritage Sites

The Royal Commission for AlUla, in collaboration with UNESCO, has announced the launch of an international training program designed to equip museum and heritage professionals with practical tools to foster intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.

The program will be conducted online via Zoom from September 18 to October 16, 2025, with weekly sessions every Thursday between 12:00 and 14:00 GMT+2.

Targeted participants include professionals working in public engagement, education, and audience interaction at museums and heritage sites.

The training will emphasize applied methodologies inspired by the “Live Museum” model, which transforms heritage and traditional crafts into active instruments for cultural exchange and inclusive visitor experiences.

As part of the broader initiative “Fostering Positive Social Transformations in AlUla,” this program highlights AlUla’s growing role as a global platform for cultural dialogue and reinforces the Kingdom’s vision of heritage as a bridge for human connection and cross-cultural collaboration.

Interested applicants are invited to submit their applications by September 5, 2025, with selected participants to be notified one week prior to the start of the program.
