Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal Club officially announced on Tuesday evening the signing of defender Ali Lajami from Al Nassr as part of their preparations for the upcoming football season.
The announcement was made via the club’s official account on “X,” accompanied by a photo of Lajami wearing the Al Hilal blue jersey.
Lajami, 29, began his professional career with Al-Khaleej before moving to Al-Fateh and later joining Al Nassr in the 2020-2021 season.

In the most recent season, Lajami made 35 appearances for Al Nassr — 25 in the Saudi Pro League (where he provided one assist), 8 in the AFC Champions League Elite, and 2 in the Saudi Super Cup.
His transfer comes as Al Hilal gears up for their participation in the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup,
featuring 32 teams, scheduled to begin next month in the United States.
The Riyadh-based club has been placed in Group H, alongside reigning champions Real Madrid, Pachuca of Mexico, and Red Bull Salzburg of Austria.
