The Ministry of Education has introduced a new initiative known as the “Early Readiness Probe”, targeted at Grade 12 students—a pivotal stage that signals the beginning of their higher education and career trajectories.
The probe aims to deliver a comprehensive assessment of both academic abilities and emotional resilience, equipping students to face future challenges with confidence.
The program includes standardized assessments covering critical areas such as analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning, alongside psychological metrics that evaluate self-regulation and stress management.
A psychological framework is embedded to identify strengths and highlight areas where academic or emotional support may be necessary.
Initial application of the probe has already produced encouraging results: students reported higher levels of confidence and reduced anxiety ahead of upcoming exams.
In partnership with educational experts, the Ministry will deploy customized individual and group support programs based on assessment outcomes, aiming to foster sustainable learning pathways and empower high school students with meaningful educational experiences.
