As Ramadan begins, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has doubled the number of electric golf carts to 400 to enhance convenience for pilgrims.
Additionally, newly developed manual carts with special designs have been introduced to meet the needs of Umrah pilgrims, providing easy and accessible transportation options during the holy month.

Inside the Grand Mosque, the authority has designated various types of carts:
Free manual carts are available at the eastern courtyard (Gate 19 – Bab Al-Salam) and the western courtyard (Al-Shubaika Bridge – Gate 64).
Paid upgraded manual carts are located at:
Ground floor of Al-Mas’a (Gate 14)
First floor of Al-Mas’a (Gate 16)
Western courtyard (Al-Shubaika Bridge – Gate 64)
Southern courtyard (near Restroom 2)

For electric golf carts, direct booking is available at designated stations, including:
Western courtyard (Al-Shubaika Bridge – Gate 64)
Ajyad Bridge (Gate 4)
Ajyad Stairway from the first floor (Gate 4)
These carts enhance mobility for the elderly and people with disabilities, making it easier for those who may struggle to walk inside the Grand Mosque.
They also help manage crowd movement and reduce congestion, especially during Ramadan, which sees high numbers of worshippers and Umrah pilgrims.
Additionally, the electric golf carts are provided free of charge to individuals with disabilities.
