The highly anticipated World Defense Show 2026, set to take place in Riyadh from February 8 to 12, has already sold 90% of its exhibition space, reflecting strong global demand and strategic industry interest.
Held under the theme “The Future of Defense Integration”, the 2026 edition will feature a significantly expanded footprint—273,000 square meters, marking a 58% increase compared to its inaugural show in 2022. The addition of a new exhibition hall is designed to meet the growing scale and participation.
The event is expected to welcome exhibitors from approximately 80 countries, with new participants including Japan, Portugal, Uzbekistan, and Finland. Türkiye has emerged as a major player, securing over 4,400 square meters of exhibit space—ranking as the third-largest participating nation.
Organized by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries, the show plays a pivotal role in the Kingdom’s vision to localize 50% of its defense spending by 2030. It serves as a global platform for innovation and collaboration across land, air, sea, security, and space sectors—positioning Saudi Arabia as a key hub in the future of defense technologies.
