An educational strategist and AI-in-learning specialist, Crawford previously served as Director of Faculty at Dubai College, one of the Middle East’s most prestigious British international schools, celebrated for its academic excellence and consistent record of placing students at Oxbridge and other leading global universities.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and the Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT), Crawford has led transformative regional initiatives in AI integration, curriculum innovation, and teacher development, advocating for a future-ready approach to education. His human-centered vision emphasizes innovation, ethical engagement, and creative intelligence, guiding students toward excellence across the Russell Group, Ivy League, and top international conservatoires.

Crawford holds an MPhil in Creativity in Education from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s degree from SOAS, University of London, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at ESSEC Business School, specializing in the future of learning, technology, and leadership.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030’s focus on education and innovation, Crawford’s upcoming column will explore how Artificial Intelligence can amplify creativity, ethical reasoning, and human potential within the modern classroom — shaping the dialogue around technology’s role in the Kingdom’s growing knowledge economy.
