The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that the Kingdom welcomed more than 1.2 million Umrah pilgrims in a single month, arriving from across the globe to perform the rituals and visit the Two Holy Mosques.
This significant figure highlights the Kingdom’s continuous efforts to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims through a comprehensive system of services — from streamlining entry procedures and expanding airport and border capacity, to ensuring a safe and seamless spiritual experience within the holy sites.
The rising numbers align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the role of the Two Holy Mosques as a global religious destination, increase the number of pilgrims and visitors, and support both religious tourism and the national economy.
