Saudi Real Estate Authority Launches First Phase of Physical Registration for 65,217 Property Units in Jeddah

The General Authority for Real Estate has commenced the first phase of physical registration for real estate in Jeddah, covering 65,217 parcels across 19 neighborhoods.

The registration period extends from August 24 to November 27, 2025, and marks a significant step in the Kingdom’s effort to accurately document property ownership with transparency.

The covered areas in this phase include:

Al-Rabi

Al-Gharbiyah

Al-Abeer

Al-Buhayrat

Al-Jazirah

Al-Zuhur

Al-Zumurrud

Al-Ghadeer

Al-Khaleej

Al-Durra

Al-Shuwaidi

Al-Baghdadiyah Al-Gharbiyah

Al-Amariyah

Al-Sahifah

and parts of:

Jeddah Islamic Port

Al-Balad district (specific plots)

These neighborhoods were selected based on clear criteria aligned with urban development plans, with upcoming phases planned for additional regions and governorates across the Kingdom.

Property owners in these areas can register via the Real Estate Registry platform or authorized service centers, provided they hold a valid and compliant title deed.

Upon successful registration, each property receives a Unique Property Number and a digital deed that includes precise geographic coordinates, ownership details, and legal rights and obligations—boosting transparency and reliability in the real estate sector.

Owners in the designated zones are urged to prepare their documentation and register within the set timeframe to avoid penalties under the physical registration system.
