As part of its efforts to empower Saudi women and strengthen their presence in key economic sectors,
the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced the establishment of the Women in Mining Association—a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and developing female talent in the Kingdom’s mining sector.
The association aims to create an inclusive and enabling environment for women to thrive in various mining-related fields.
It will provide platforms for training, mentorship, and professional networking, highlighting success stories and facilitating knowledge exchange.
This initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes the importance of integrating women into all sectors of the national economy—including industries traditionally dominated by men.
The association marks a significant step toward promoting diversity and inclusion in mining,
positioning Saudi women as active partners in shaping the future of this vital industry.
