In a strategic move to nurture innovation and talent, the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Innovation Club aimed at empowering innovators within the industrial and mining sectors.
The agreement, endorsed under the patronage of the Assistant Minister for Planning and Development, lays the groundwork for joint initiatives to elevate national talent, connect innovators with support entities such as incubators, accelerators, and service providers, and facilitate the sharing of expertise.
It also calls for the organization of business forums, workshops, and initiatives designed to cultivate a culture of innovation and highlight success stories from the field.
This collaboration builds on the recently launched “Innovative Industrial and Mining Products Program,” which drives digital transformation, promotes global competitiveness, and aligns with broader efforts to diversify Saudi Arabia’s economy in line with long-term strategic goals.
The Minister of Industry emphasized that this initiative creates an integrated environment that enables innovators to turn their ideas into viable competitive products both domestically and internationally.
He described innovation as a cornerstone of economic development and digital advancement in these critical sectors.
This partnership reflects the Kingdom’s robust commitment to empowering national talent, fostering a culture of creativity, and advancing an economy rooted in knowledge and technological leadership.
