Saudi Human Rights Commission Graduates First Cohort of Specialized Training Program

The Human Rights Commission in Saudi Arabia has celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its specialized expert training program, aimed at developing a new generation of national professionals in the field of human rights.

This initiative is part of the Commission’s broader strategy to build institutional capacity and empower qualified local talent, equipping them to handle human rights issues in line with international standards.

The training program featured a comprehensive curriculum combining theoretical foundations with practical applications. Key topics included national human rights legislation, international conventions, monitoring and documentation skills, report writing, and rights-based communication. Participants also engaged in dialogue sessions and simulation exercises based on real-life scenarios.

The Commission emphasized that this milestone reflects its commitment to expanding the pool of qualified local experts and supporting the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to promote human rights, justice, and human dignity across all sectors.
