The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom has officially announced that the average life expectancy of Saudi citizens has increased to 78 years, marking a significant milestone in public health and national well-being.
According to the ministry, this progress is the result of comprehensive efforts made in recent years to enhance healthcare quality, expand preventive services, promote healthy lifestyles, and improve access to medical care through a robust health infrastructure.

This rise in life expectancy reflects the success of the National Health Strategy and supports the goals of Vision 2030, which aims to improve quality of life and build a healthier, more active society.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to reducing chronic disease rates and premature mortality through expanded early screening programs, immunizations, nutritional education, and psychological and social support across all age groups.
