Saudi Finance Minister Leads Delegation at G20 Finance and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting in South Africa

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan led the Kingdom’s delegation to the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting held in Johannesburg, South Africa, as part of the country’s participation under South Africa’s presidency of the G20 for 2025.

The meeting addressed key global economic and financial priorities, including sustainable development, climate finance, reforms to international financial institutions, and strategies for ensuring global economic stability amid ongoing challenges.

During the sessions, Minister Al-Jadaan emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at achieving inclusive and sustainable growth. He highlighted the importance of multilateral cooperation in tackling global economic issues such as inflation, debt burdens, and the realization of development goals.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the minister held bilateral talks with several counterparts to explore avenues for deeper financial and economic collaboration, share perspectives on market stability, and strengthen international partnerships.
