Saudi designers made a bold and stylish statement on the international stage as their collections were showcased at London’s renowned Selfridges department store.
This vibrant event is part of the “Saudi Fashion Gate” initiative, aimed at highlighting local creative talent and bringing Saudi fashion to a global audience.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Saudi Fashion Commission—under the Ministry of Culture—in collaboration with Fashion Trust Arabia and with the support of the “Made in Saudi” program, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to promote cultural exchange and global recognition.
Several distinguished Saudi designers participated, presenting modern pieces rooted in rich local heritage. Their collections reflected the diversity and elegance of Saudi traditions from various regions, interpreted through contemporary aesthetics.
The showcased pieces received wide acclaim from fashion enthusiasts and Selfridges visitors, who praised the uniqueness, craftsmanship, and innovation of Saudi fashion.
The Fashion Commission emphasized that such international exposure offers Saudi designers an invaluable opportunity to expand their reach and position Saudi fashion as a distinct voice in the global creative scene.
