Saudi Dialects Dubbing Contest Manga Productions Empowers Local Voice Talents

Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk”, has launched a new edition of the Saudi Dialects Dubbing Contest, aiming to empower voice acting talents in the Kingdom and celebrate the richness of local culture through creative art.

The contest invites participants to dub selected scenes from the second season of the popular anime series “Future’s Folktales”, using various Saudi dialects such as those spoken in AlUla, Hail, Makkah, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, Qassim, Asir, Tabuk, and Jazan.

This initiative is designed to support Saudi voice talents and provide them with opportunities to participate in future professional projects by Manga Productions. Selected participants will receive expert training from industry professionals.

The first edition of the contest attracted over 1,800 participants from across the Arab world and garnered over 15 million video views, reflecting a strong regional interest in Arabic dubbing and voice acting.

The current edition runs for four weeks and includes weekly challenges shared via social media platforms, allowing public engagement and voting.
