A high-level Saudi delegation has departed for the United States to advance strategic cooperation in technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital innovation, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to building a knowledge-based economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The delegation includes representatives from government entities, national tech organizations, academia, and the private sector, and will hold meetings with leading US technology firms, research centers, and AI institutions, particularly in Silicon Valley.

The visit aims to exchange expertise, explore joint investment opportunities, and strengthen collaboration in areas such as big data, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and human capital development within the tech ecosystem.

Officials noted that the mission aligns with the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to localize emerging technologies, foster innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance Saudi Arabia’s global competitiveness in the digital economy.

The program will also include the signing of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with US universities, research bodies, and tech companies, paving the way for joint projects in automation, education, and applied research.

This initiative reflects the deepening partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States in the fields of technology and innovation, as both nations work toward a shared vision of sustainable economic growth and technological progress.
