The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced that the Kingdom will co-host a high-level global event on artificial intelligence during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, alongside Kenya and the United Nations.

The Saudi delegation, led by SDAIA Vice President Sami bin Abdullah Muqeem, will join international officials and experts to discuss AI’s role in advancing sustainable development, strengthening security, and driving innovation.

SDAIA will also participate in sessions covering digital governance, private sector innovation, and the use of artificial intelligence for humanitarian purposes.

The initiative underscores the Kingdom’s growing influence in shaping global AI policy and aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s focus on harnessing technology as a foundation for sustainable growth and long-term prosperity.
