Saudi Arabia continues to strengthen its global cultural presence with a compelling showcase at both the Seoul and Beijing International Book Fairs.

The Ministry of Culture and the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission led the Kingdom’s participation, presenting a vibrant tapestry of Saudi literature, art, and thought.

The Saudi pavilion featured an array of books, intellectual works, and creative publications from various local publishers, accompanied by live presentations, discussion panels, and interactive workshops. This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030, which positions culture as a central pillar of national development.

At the Seoul Book Fair, visitors engaged with Saudi authors and explored the evolution of Arabic literature and publishing. Meanwhile, the Beijing fair highlighted cross-cultural dialogue through sessions focused on translation and knowledge exchange between Chinese and Arab literary traditions.

The participation also opened new doors for Saudi publishers to explore international markets and forge global partnerships, facilitating the global reach of Saudi literature and thought.

This international engagement forms part of the Kingdom’s wider cultural diplomacy strategy—one that aims to share its creative voice with the world and affirm its role as both a guardian of rich heritage and a hub for contemporary innovation.
