In a recognition of its growing global role in healthcare, Saudi Arabia has been elected Vice-Chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board for 2025 during the ongoing World Health Assembly meetings in Geneva.

This prestigious position reflects the Kingdom’s sustained efforts to enhance its domestic health systems and its active support for global health initiatives,

including contributions to combating epidemics and strengthening international health security.
