Saudi Arabia extended its congratulations to the Kingdom of Bahrain following its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2026–2027 term.

This milestone reflects Bahrain’s growing diplomatic influence and the international community’s confidence in its ability to contribute to global peace and security.

The Kingdom affirmed its full support for Bahrain in its upcoming role, wishing it success in representing Arab interests and engaging constructively in Security Council decisions.

Bahrain is set to begin its term in January 2026, alongside Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Latvia, and Liberia.
