Saudi Arabia has made significant strides in its global health standing through notable research achievements and the expansion of its cities recognized under the World Health Organization’s Healthy Cities program.
According to the Ministry of Health, these advancements stem from continuous investment in medical and public health research, the adoption of innovative strategies to combat diseases, and the enhancement of healthcare infrastructure to meet world-class standards.
The Kingdom has also expanded its implementation of the Healthy Cities initiative, aimed at improving quality of life by promoting healthy lifestyles, reducing risk factors, and encouraging community participation in health and environmental decision-making.
The ministry emphasized that these efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030, building a healthier society, improving public health indicators, and strengthening the Kingdom’s role as a leading supporter of regional and global health initiatives.
