Saudi Arabia Adds Over 1,000 New Hotel Rooms as Future Hospitality Summit Kicks Off

Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector received a significant boost with the opening of the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh,

announcing the addition of over 1,000 new hotel rooms through several major agreements.

Among the notable announcements, BWH Hotels partnered with Optimal Real Estate and Rsoukh Trading Co. to develop five new properties across Jeddah and Madinah,

including a 540-room Best Western Premier hotel in Madinah and a luxury WorldHotels Elite property on King Road in Jeddah.

Amsa Hospitality also announced a new four-star hotel project in Qassim in collaboration with Alkayan Alarabi.

Additionally, IHG Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement with Ashaad Co. to develop three new hotels in Jeddah a

nd Alkhobar: Hotel Indigo in Jeddah, InterContinental in Alkhobar, and Voco in Alkhobar.

These developments align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to enhance the tourism and hospitality sectors, attract more international visitors,

and create new employment opportunities for Saudi citizens.

These projects are expected to strengthen the Kingdom’s hospitality infrastructure

and offer diverse hotel experiences catering to various visitors, from tourists to business travelers.
