The Saudi Film Commission is preparing to launch the third edition of the Saudi Film Confex in Riyadh from October 22 to 25, under the theme “A Gathering That Transforms the Scene.” This landmark event underscores the Kingdom’s growing role as a regional and global hub for the film industry.
The Confex will bring together leading filmmakers, investors, and local and international producers, alongside specialists across all areas of cinema.
It aims to foster strategic partnerships, attract new investments, and strengthen industry infrastructure, in line with the Vision 2030 goal of positioning culture and the arts as key drivers of national development.

The program will feature more than 30 panel discussions and workshops covering film financing, content development, regulatory frameworks, and technical innovations.
Side events will also introduce youth and aspiring creatives to diverse career pathways within the cinematic sector.
A large-scale exhibition will host over 130 participants, including production and distribution companies, technology and logistics providers, streaming platforms, funding institutions, universities, and film associations.
The Confex offers a unique opportunity for companies, creatives, and investors to showcase projects, present innovations, and build partnerships that will accelerate the growth of the Kingdom’s cinematic ecosystem and reinforce its status as a global film hub.
