Riyadh is set to host the 7th Global Occupational Safety and Health Conference from May 4 to 6, 2025, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The event will bring together leading figures from government, private sector, and academia—both local and international—to discuss the future of occupational safety and health, as well as key challenges and opportunities in the evolving global labor market.
The conference aims to promote a culture of safety in the workplace by fostering dialogue on the latest trends, innovative solutions, and global best practices.
It also seeks to facilitate knowledge-sharing to strengthen preventive measures and shape effective policies.
A major focus will be placed on the role of technology in improving work environments and driving progress toward safer, healthier workplaces.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, emphasized that the conference will tackle pressing issues that impact modern work ecosystems, aiming to develop optimal regulatory frameworks for future-readiness.
Al-Rajhi described the event as a significant milestone in advancing global dialogue on occupational safety and health and improving adherence to regional and international standards.
